Denise Beek

Denise Beek is VP of Original Storytelling for Represent Justice. Previously, she held the inaugural post as Chief Communications Officer for me too. International, the flagship nonprofit organization founded in the height of the ‘me too.’ Movement with the mission to help survivors heal and change the way we talk and think about sexual violence. In that role, she designed numerous narrative campaigns, produced several PSAs, and launched digital platforms and public engagement initiatives.

Denise also serves as board co-chair of BlackStar Projects, and is a mom, writer, performer, and improv artist. Her passion for gender equity and racial justice fuels all of her artistic, cultural and social justice work, and she believes that storytelling is critical to the understanding of what it means to bear witness to the world as it is and as it should be.
