JustSource

JustSource is a listserv that aims to assist in promoting more nuanced, fair coverage of the criminal legal system by connecting reporters with directly-impacted advocates and experts across the country. 

One of the chief barriers reporters regularly encounter in their work is a lack of time. Tight deadlines mean they typically are not afforded the time to build and maintain relationships with directly impacted people who can serve as sources. Represent Justice wants to help journalists overcome this barrier by connecting them with community advocates and system-impacted people  whose voices need to be included in the discourse about our criminal legal system.

This listserv is meant to facilitate nuanced, accurate and fair coverage of the criminal legal system and people impacted by it, by making it easier for reporters and sources to connect with one another.
