Bryan Simmons

Speakers Bureau Manager

Bryan Simmons (they/he) is an award-winning reentry practitioner, graphic designer, and media producer with a passion for restorative justice. They joined Represent Justice in 2023 and currently serve as Speakers Bureau Manager. In this role, they lead strategy, design, outreach, partner relations, and event and logistics management for the bureau, strengthening its impact and expanding opportunities for the organization’s speakers. Previously, they served as Films and Series Coordinator for Represent Justice and as a Digital Media Fellow and Producer at Second Chance Studios.

As a system-impacted person guided by their commitment to social justice, Bryan works to amplify the stories of other system-impacted individuals, raising awareness about the collateral consequences they experience and advancing both narrative and policy change within the criminal legal system.

Bryan earned their Master of Divinity and Criminal and Restorative Justice Certificate from the Samuel DeWitt Proctor School of Theology at Virginia Union University. They also earned a Master of Sacred Theology with a concentration in Social Ethics from Union Theological Seminary.
