Josh M.

My name is Josh. I'm 40 years old. I've been down since I was 20 and I don't think I'm ever getting out. And for whoever listens to this, whoever happens to notice it, or see it, if there's one thing that I could put out there into the universe is that it's never too late. It doesn't matter what's happened between you and anybody else. It doesn't matter how bad things may seem. It's never too late.

I know being alone in prison, having nobody around me for real support. I had my father. I had my stepmother and I knew that despite the destruction of a stupid childhood, on my part, that I rebuilt that relationship with them. And that has infused in me this unrelenting belief that it’s never too late. There’s always hope. You can always rebuild no matter how bad it may seem, no matter what’s going on.

Don’t give up. If I can do it in here, in this situation, you can do it wherever you may be, whatever your circumstances may be, no matter how dire they may seem at the time don’t give up. There’s always hope. And I hope the best for anybody listening to this.
