Campaign Coordinator, REPRESENT JUSTICE
Serena Jones is a campaign coordinator for Represent Justice. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Government and Politics from the University of Maryland, College Park and is currently working on her Master’s in Public Policy at the same institution. Serena is fueled by her passion for social change and interest in government affairs.
Serena previously interned during the 2017 Maryland General Assembly under Delegate Mark Fisher. In Fall 2018, Serena interned at The Raben Group under the Government Affairs and Issue Campaigns practice groups to further explore her policy interests. Serena interned at the U.S. House of Representatives in the office of Congressman Cardenas this past Spring, where she focused intensively on immigration and human rights policy. Currently, she is partnering with the Department of Labor as a Graduate Research Assistant, evaluating child and forced labor production abroad alongside the U.S. harmonized tariff schedule in order to influence human rights and labor protections globally. Serena is also a classical pianist and participates in the College Park Scholars Arts Program at the University of Maryland.
