Mercy Circles

The Campaign will work with faith leaders and partners to develop programming and tools for communities to host Mercy Circles, a house party and community organizing model that brings people together for conversations with screenings and a faith-based toolkit and discussion guide. In coordination with faith partners and a network of interfaith congregations, the Campaign will provide resources for individuals to host Mercy Circles following the release of the film to discuss how they can actively engage in and support justice reform work where they live. Mercy Circles are structured to convene on a regular basis and serve as an opportunity to learn about key issues (bring in local organizational speakers and formerly incarcerated individuals), discuss values, and determine long-term commitment to system reform.
